I work digitally, drawing with a graphics tablet straight into Adobe Illustrator, which means my illustrations can be scaled up easily. This technique lends itself well to creating large-scale graphics, murals and installations for museums, galleries, hospitals and POS and branding for high end brands.
Projects I’ve worked on include large-scale cut-out illustrations for the Science Museum, The Museum of Childhood Edinburgh with StudioArc, Heidelberger Druckmaschinen and St George’s Hospital, Tooting.
I’d particularly love to work on more artwork for museums, brands and hospitals.
My illustrations have also been projected onto buildings in both Edinburgh, as part of Projectsphere’s Edinburgh’s Georgian Shadows campaign, and in Dublin, animated by Potion Pictures and projected onto the Convention Centre Dublin. I’ve also created background and character illustrations for Shooting Fish Theatre Company, which were projected onto backdrops with real actors performing in front of them. We’ve worked together on ‘Edith’s War’, commissioned for Goole Town Council and on the animation ‘An Exploded View’.
If you would like me to create some illustrations for either large-scale murals or graphics, or for projection and animation, please do get in touch!
